Our Photographer's Guidelines and Equipment

Photographer Guidelines

Customer Service / Interpersonal Skills:

Aware of customer needs and able to go above and beyond expectations to satisfy them. Photographers often photograph people. They must communicate effectively to achieve a certain composition in a photograph.

Sales and Marketing / Business Skills:

Complete knowledge of the brand and what services we offer. Photographers must be able to plan marketing strategies, reach out to prospective clients, and anticipate seasonal employment.

Speak English:

Bilingual recommended but not required - able to communicate with our core, English speaking customers.

Knowledge of software. (adobe):

Most photographers do their own post-production work and must be familiar with photo editing software. They also use computers to keep a digital portfolio and communicate with clients. All photographers must have experience using the most up to date versions of Lightroom and Photoshop CC, as well as the ability to upload to cloud service.

Artistic Ability:

Photographers capture their subjects in images, and they must be able to evaluate the artistic quality of a photograph. Photographers need "a good eye"—the ability to use colors, shadows, shades, light, and distance to compose good photographs.

Detail Oriented:

Photographers who do their own post-production work must be careful not to overlook details and must be thorough when editing photographs. In addition, photographers accumulate many photographs and must maintain them in an orderly fashion.

Experience

Photographers must have minimum 2 years experience with DSLR cameras and photographing human subjects (working with models)

Photographers must be able to use a camera in full manual mode plus external flash manual settings.

Training and classes

All photographers are required to pass our 10 hours [fresh]standard training(paid) and recommended to take courses in photography online or in class. We offer an array of entry-level courses for entry-level photographers or if you are looking for a refresher, to meet our [fresh]standard guidelines.

Portfolio

Photographer's portfolio should showcase the different styles of photography that you are able to shoot. We want to see what you can do and if we are the best fit for your skill set.

Pass a criminal background check

Have a clean DMV driving record

Be a friendly people person

Last Updated: August 18, 2016

At Fresh Photos, your privacy is important to us. In this privacy policy, we tell you what information we collect, share with others, and how we use it to facilitate deliveries by couriers to customers.

Scope of this Privacy Policy

Fresh Photos (“Fresh Photos,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals who use our website and mobile apps (collectively, our “Platform”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from Fresh Photos’ users (“Users”). It applies to our customers (“Customers”), individuals who deliver products requested by Customers through our Platform (“Couriers”), anyone who signs up to become a Courier (“Prospective Photographers”), businesses selling products through our Platform (“Merchants”), and other partners who use our Platform to facilitate delivery of products (“Partners”). By using the Platform, you agree to the Privacy Policy and any future amendments and additions. Your use of our Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.

1. Information You Provide to Us

1.1. Information Provided by Customers

  • Payment Information. When you add a payment card to your Fresh Photos account, a third-party payments service provider receives your card information. To help keep your financial data secure, we never store full payment card information on our servers.

1.2. Information Provided by Prospective and Active Photographers

  • Sign Up Information. When you sign up to become a Photographer, you provide your name, Social Security Number, date of birth, email address, physical address, phone number, photo, driver’s license information, vehicle information, and car insurance information. We share this information with third-party providers who initiate background check reports on you. Additional information about the third parties who run the background checks is provided in Section 3.2 below.

  • Location Information When Using the Website. In order to facilitate on-demand deliveries, we need to know where Customers and Photographers are located. We receive a Customer’s location information when you open the Fresh Photos website as well as when you place an order, to help determine the appropriate delivery address. We continuously collect location information from Couriers who are “on duty,” in order to assist Photographers in finding available deliveries, allow Customers to track deliveries, and other similar purposes. We also use location information for analytics purposes.

2.2. Information We Collect When You Use Our Platform

  • Call and Text Information. We work with one or more third parties to facilitate phone calls and text messages between Customers and Photographers who are delivering the Customers’ products. We receive information about these communications including the date and time of the call or text message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the text messages. We do not record or have access to the content of the phone calls.

  • User Feedback. Customers and Photographers can rate and review each other at the end of every delivery. Customers are able to see a Courier’s aggregate ratings during a delivery.
